On March 1st, the 2024 China Auto Overseas (Chile) Exhibition, hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, was held in Santiago, the capital of Chile.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials from the Chinese Embassy in Chile, as well as representatives from the Chilean Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Energy, and other government departments. Local mainstream media outlets such as 'Messenger News,' 'Times Reviewer,' 'Southern Report' from Concepción Province, as well as online platforms, showed significant interest in this event.

At this tour exhibition, flagship models including SERES 3, E5, and EC35 from DFSK were showcased, presenting premium vehicle offerings from DFSK to South American customers, including those in Chile. This Chinese auto exhibition will tour three cities in Chile: Santiago, Viña del Mar, and Concepción. This marks another collective appearance in a significant South American market since DFSK brand's introduction of ten-thousand-level new energy vehicles in Brazil in October 2023.

Chile is an important country in South America and a traditional key market for Chinese automobile exports. In recent years, DFSK has been deeply cultivating markets in Chile and other South American countries, actively implementing the national strategy of expanding opening-up, promoting high-quality development of automobile trade, and effectively enhancing the influence and competitiveness of Chinese domestic brand automobiles in South America.
