On March 22, Beijing time, a New Land-Sea Corridor train carrying SERES new energy vehicles departed from the station of the special railway line of Orchard Port in Liangjiang New Area. Two days later, the train will arrive at Qinzhou Port and finally arrive in Europe after completing the loading.
This is the first new energy vehicle land-sea corridor rail-sea combined transport train from Chongqing, which will add a new corridor for the export of new energy vehicles in Sichuan and Chongqing.
Zhang Xingyan, general manager of the Overseas Business Department of SERES, said that compared with traditional water transportation, relying on the rail-sea combined transport network of the Western Land-Sea Corridor, SERES will save 10-20 days of transportation time. It has played a positive role in promoting SERES to reduce logistics costs, improve transportation efficiency, and open up international markets.
